{ Sex Sells } Someone requested a "porn" fanmix. Having taken two soc classes focusing on sexuality and gender during the spring, I was happy to pick up the challenge to make a sex-themed mix. Something of a commentary.

♥ Blonde Redhead, unique group, hard to give you any examplry songs but try out "Falling Man" "23" and "Equally Damaged"
♥ Kate Bush is very, very interesting... definately acquired taste but if nothing else, get "This Woman's Work" (used in an episode of Without a Trace)
♥ "You Only Disapper" by Tom McRae is beautiful and haunting
♥ Counting Crows, albums August and Everything After and Recovering the Sattelites; half the tracks of This Desert Life are worth it; don't bother with Hard Candy except for "Black and Blue"

Writing Inspiration

Well... it does change and vary, depending on my mood and what I'm writing. Usually if I'm writing a songfic I'll be listening to that song or group on repeat as I write so I'm better in the mood. I guess while I'm on mood, I might as well drop some of the groups or songs I tend to listen to for various "scenes" of my fanfiction. Might give people an idea what to listen to while reading my stuff as well. ^_~
